Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi Flour (finger millet flour) 🌾
- 1/2 cup chopped Onion 🧅
- 1 Green Chili, finely chopped 🌶️
- 1/4 cup chopped Coriander Leaves 🌿
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 🥄
- Salt to taste 🧂
- Water as needed 💧
- 1 tbsp Oil for cooking 🛢️
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ragi flour, chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and salt. 🥣
- Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. 💧
- Divide the dough into equal portions and make small balls. 🥎
- On a lightly floured surface, flatten each ball into a roti (thin flatbread) using your fingers or a rolling pin. 🖐️
- Heat a griddle or tawa over medium heat. 🔥
- Place the roti on the hot griddle and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. ⏲️
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until golden brown spots appear. 🛢️
- Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or any side dish of your choice. 🍽️
