Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ragi Flour (finger millet flour) 🌾
  • 1/2 cup chopped Onion 🧅
  • 1 Green Chili, finely chopped 🌶️
  • 1/4 cup chopped Coriander Leaves 🌿
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 🥄
  • Salt to taste 🧂
  • Water as needed 💧
  • 1 tbsp Oil for cooking 🛢️

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix ragi flour, chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, and salt. 🥣
  • Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. 💧
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and make small balls. 🥎
  • On a lightly floured surface, flatten each ball into a roti (thin flatbread) using your fingers or a rolling pin. 🖐️
  • Heat a griddle or tawa over medium heat. 🔥
  • Place the roti on the hot griddle and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. ⏲️
  • Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until golden brown spots appear. 🛢️
  • Serve hot with yogurt, chutney, or any side dish of your choice. 🍽️
