Beetroot Raita

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Yogurt (dahi) 🥛
  • 1/2 cup Beetroot, grated 🍠
  • 1/4 tsp Roasted cumin powder 🥄
  • 1/4 tsp Black salt (kala namak) 🧂
  • 1 Green chili, finely chopped (optional) 🌶️
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 🌿
  • Salt to taste 🧂

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk the yogurt until smooth. 🥣
  • Add the grated beetroot, roasted cumin powder, black salt, green chili (if using), and salt. Mix well. 🥄
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. 🌿
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving. ❄️
  • Serve chilled with Indian meals. 🍽️
