Ingredients
- 🍜 Udon noodles – 2 packs (fresh or frozen)
- 🥣 Tsuyu – 1/2 cup dipping sauce base
- 🥢 Scallions – 1 stalk thinly sliced
- 🫚 Ginger – 1 tsp freshly grated
- 🧂 Tenkasu – 1 tbsp tempura scraps (optional)
Instructions
- 💧 Boil a large pot of water and cook udon noodles according to package instructions.
- 🥣 Prepare the dipping sauce by diluting tsuyu with hot water if concentrated.
- 🥢 Drain the noodles slightly, but leave them in the hot cooking water or serve immediately in a bowl with a little hot water.
- 🫚 Garnish the dipping sauce with grated ginger, scallions, and tempura scraps.
- ✨ Dip the hot noodles into the sauce and enjoy immediately while steaming.
