Ingredients

  • 🍜 Udon noodles – 2 packs (fresh or frozen)
  • 🥣 Tsuyu – 1/2 cup dipping sauce base
  • 🥢 Scallions – 1 stalk thinly sliced
  • 🫚 Ginger – 1 tsp freshly grated
  • 🧂 Tenkasu – 1 tbsp tempura scraps (optional)

Instructions

  • 💧 Boil a large pot of water and cook udon noodles according to package instructions.
  • 🥣 Prepare the dipping sauce by diluting tsuyu with hot water if concentrated.
  • 🥢 Drain the noodles slightly, but leave them in the hot cooking water or serve immediately in a bowl with a little hot water.
  • 🫚 Garnish the dipping sauce with grated ginger, scallions, and tempura scraps.
  • ✨ Dip the hot noodles into the sauce and enjoy immediately while steaming.
