Ingredients
- 🥩 Sirloin or Ribeye steak – 2 pieces
- 🌶️ Green chilies (mircha) – 5-6 slit lengthwise
- 🍋 Vinegar – 1/4 cup for pickling
- 🧄 Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- 🧂 Salt and black pepper – to taste
- 🧈 Butter or oil – 2 tbsp for searing
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine green chilies, vinegar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl; let them soak while prepping the steak.
- 🧂 Pat steaks dry, season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan over high heat and sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until your desired doneness.
- 🥘 Add the minced garlic and drained pickled chilies to the pan during the last minute of cooking, tossing to coat.
- ✨ Rest the steak for 5 minutes before slicing and serving topped with the pickled chilies.
