Ingredients

  • 🍖 Lamb shanks – 2 pieces
  • 🥕 Carrots – 2 large chopped
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large diced
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves smashed
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup (optional)
  • 🌿 Rosemary – 2 sprigs
  • 🍲 Beef broth – 2 cups

Instructions

  • 🔥 Season the lamb and sear in a hot pan until browned on all sides.
  • 🧅 Sauté the onions, carrots, and garlic in the same pan until fragrant.
  • 🍷 Pour in the red wine and broth, then add the rosemary sprigs.
  • 🥘 Cover and braise in a low oven (325°F/160°C) for 2 to 2.5 hours until tender.
  • ✨ Remove the lid, reduce the sauce if needed, and serve hot.
