Ingredients

  • chickpeas 🫘 – 1 can, rinsed and drained
  • tahini 🥄 – 1/4 cup
  • lemon juice 🍋 – 2 tbsp
  • garlic 🧄 – 1 clove, minced
  • olive oil 🫒 – 2 tbsp
  • gunpowder spice (podi) 🌶️ – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and oil in a food processor.
  • 🌪️ Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • 🧂 Adjust salt to taste and add a splash of water if it is too thick.
  • ✨ Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with extra olive oil.
  • 🍛 Generously sprinkle the gunpowder spice on top before serving with bread or veggies.
