- 🐖 Pork Belly – 1kg slab
- 🧂 Sea Salt – 2 tablespoons
- 🍶 Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
- 🌿 Five-Spice Powder – 1 teaspoon
- 🧄 Garlic Powder – 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- 🔪 Score the skin of the pork belly in a diamond pattern without cutting into the meat.
- ♨️ Blanch the meat side in boiling water for 5 minutes, then pat the skin completely dry.
- 🧂 Rub the meat with spices and brush the skin with vinegar, then coat heavily with sea salt.
- 🔥 Roast in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 90 minutes until the skin is bubbly and golden.
- ✨ Rest for 10 minutes before slicing into pieces to ensure a perfect, crunchy crackling.
