Ingredients
- 🫘 Chickpeas (Chana) – boiled
- 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – chopped
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – chopped
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🫙 Spices (cumin, coriander, chili powder) – 1 tsp each
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥔 Mash boiled potatoes and chickpeas together.
- 🧅 Add chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and spices to the mixture.
- 🍋 Squeeze lemon juice and mix well. Form into small patties.
- 🍞 Coat the patties with breadcrumbs.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with chutney.
