Ingredients
- 🍡 Rice cakes (tteok) – 300g, soaked if hard
- 🥘 Fish cakes – 2 sheets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 🌶️ Gochujang (Korean chili paste) – 2 tbsp
- 🍯 Sugar or corn syrup – 1 tbsp
- 🥣 Anchovy or kelp broth – 2 cups
- 🧅 Green onions – 1 stalk, chopped
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine broth, gochujang, and sugar in a pan and bring to a gentle boil.
- 🍡 Add the rice cakes and stir frequently to ensure they don't stick to the bottom.
- 🥘 Toss in the fish cakes and simmer until the sauce thickens and coats everything nicely.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh green onions and serve immediately while hot and chewy.
