Ingredients

  • 🌭 Hot dogs – 4 large
  • 🧀 Mozzarella cheese – 4 sticks
  • 🥔 Potatoes – 2 large, diced into small cubes
  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • 🌽 Cornmeal – 1/2 cup
  • 🥛 Milk – 3/4 cup
  • 🥚 Egg – 1 large
  • 🍞 Panko breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  • 🍳 Vegetable oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🍢 Skewer the cheese and hot dog sticks, then chill them in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • 🥣 Whisk flour, cornmeal, milk, and egg together in a tall glass to create a thick batter.
  • 🥔 Dip each skewer into the batter, then roll firmly in the potato cubes until fully coated.
