Ingredients

  • 🧀 Cream cheese – softened
  • 🥚 Eggs – large
  • 🥛 Heavy cream
  • 🍪 Cookie crumbs – for crust
  • 🧈 Butter – melted (for crust)
  • 🍬 Sugar
  • 🍋 Lemon zest
  • 🍓 Fresh berries – for topping

Instructions

  • 🍪 Prepare the crust: Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a pan.
  • 🥣 Make the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs, cream, and lemon zest.
  • Pour filling over the crust. Some filling might remain uncooked ('crudo').
  • ⏲️ Bake at 325°F (160°C) until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly ('cotto' edges).
  • ❄️ Cool completely, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Top with fresh berries 🍓 before serving.
