Ingredients
- 🧀 Cream cheese – softened
- 🥚 Eggs – large
- 🥛 Heavy cream
- 🍪 Cookie crumbs – for crust
- 🧈 Butter – melted (for crust)
- 🍬 Sugar
- 🍋 Lemon zest
- 🍓 Fresh berries – for topping
Instructions
- 🍪 Prepare the crust: Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a pan.
- 🥣 Make the filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs, cream, and lemon zest.
- Pour filling over the crust. Some filling might remain uncooked ('crudo').
- ⏲️ Bake at 325°F (160°C) until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly ('cotto' edges).
- ❄️ Cool completely, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Top with fresh berries 🍓 before serving.
