Ingredients

  • 🦴 Beef marrow bones – 2-3 pieces
  • 🌿 Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) – 2 sprigs
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🧅 Shallots – 1, minced
  • 🍞 Crusty bread – for serving
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, for zest and juice
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🔥 Preheat charcoal grill or oven to high heat.
  • 🔪 Prepare the bone marrow by scoring the top in a crosshatch pattern.
  • 🌿 Mix herbs, garlic, shallots, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Rub onto the bone marrow.
  • 🦴 Place marrow bones on the grill or in the oven and roast until marrow is soft and spreadable (20-30 minutes).
  • 🍞 Serve hot with crusty bread and a squeeze of lemon juice.
