Ingredients
- 🦴 Beef marrow bones – 2-3 pieces
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) – 2 sprigs
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🧅 Shallots – 1, minced
- 🍞 Crusty bread – for serving
- 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, for zest and juice
- 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat charcoal grill or oven to high heat.
- 🔪 Prepare the bone marrow by scoring the top in a crosshatch pattern.
- 🌿 Mix herbs, garlic, shallots, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Rub onto the bone marrow.
- 🦴 Place marrow bones on the grill or in the oven and roast until marrow is soft and spreadable (20-30 minutes).
- 🍞 Serve hot with crusty bread and a squeeze of lemon juice.
