Ingredients

  • 🧊 Absinthe – for rinsing
  • 🥃 Rye Whiskey – 2 oz
  • 🍬 Sugar cube – 1
  • 💧 Peychaud's Bitters – 3 dashes
  • 🍋 Lemon peel – for garnish

Instructions

  • 🧊 Chill a rocks glass with ice.
  • 🍸 In a separate glass, muddle sugar cube with bitters.
  • 🥃 Add rye whiskey to the mixing glass and stir.
  • ✨ Empty the ice from the chilled glass and rinse with absinthe.
  • 🍋 Strain the whiskey mixture into the absinthe-rinsed glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
