Ingredients

  • 2 large Portobello mushrooms 🍄
  • 2 tbsp Sambal oelek 🌶️
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 🍶
  • 1 tbsp honey 🍯
  • 1 tbsp lime juice 🍋
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil 🌻
  • Cilantro for garnish (optional)🌿
  • Salt to taste 🧂

Instructions

  • Clean the portobello mushrooms and remove the stems. Gently scrape out the gills. 🍄
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sambal oelek, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. 🌶️🧄🍶🍯🍋
  • Brush the mushroom caps with vegetable oil. 🌻
  • Spoon the sambal mixture into the mushroom caps, ensuring they are evenly coated. 🥄
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). 🌡️
  • Place the filled mushroom caps on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender. ⏲️
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro (optional)🌿. Serve hot.🍽️
