Ingredients
- 🐑 Mutton – 500g, cut into pieces
- 🧅 Onions – 3, thinly sliced and fried until golden
- 🥣 Yogurt – 1 cup, whisked
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🥘 Whole spices – cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaf
- 🧂 Spices – coriander powder, chili powder, and garam masala
- 🌿 Fresh cilantro – for garnish
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a heavy pot and sauté the whole spices until fragrant.
- 🐑 Add mutton pieces and ginger-garlic paste, cooking until the meat turns brown.
- 🥣 Stir in the whisked yogurt and spice powders, simmering until the meat is tender.
- 🧅 Add the crushed fried onions and a little water to form a rich, thick gravy.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
