Ingredients
- 🍮 Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup for caramel
- 🥛 Whole milk – 1.5 cups
- 🥚 Eggs – 3 large
- 🍯 Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- 💧 Water – 2 tbsp for caramel
Instructions
- 🍮 Melt sugar with water in a pan until amber, then pour into ramekins.
- 🥛 Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla together gently without creating bubbles.
- 🍳 Strain the mixture through a sieve and pour carefully into prepared ramekins.
- ♨️ Steam the ramekins in a covered pot or oven water bath for 20-30 minutes until set.
- ✨ Cool to room temperature, refrigerate, then unmold onto plates to serve.
