  • 🌿 Cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
  • 🍅 Tomato – 1 small, diced
  • 🥖 Pita bread – for serving

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mash half of the fava beans in a bowl, leaving the rest whole for texture.
  • 🍳 Heat olive oil in a small pan over medium heat and sauté the garlic briefly.
  • 🥘 Add the fava beans, cumin, and a splash of water, simmering until heated through.
  • 🍋 Stir in the lemon juice and salt, then transfer to a serving bowl.
  • ✨ Top with diced tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil, serve warm with pita bread.
