Ingredients

  • 🍚 Glutinous rice flour – 1 cup
  • 💧 Water – lukewarm
  • 🫘 Sweet filling (red bean paste, sesame paste, etc.) – to taste
  • 🧊 Sweetened soup base (e.g., osmanthus soup, syrup) – as needed
  • 🥭 Fruits – diced (optional)

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mix glutinous rice flour with lukewarm water to form a smooth dough.
  • 🤏 Roll small portions of dough into balls, stuff with sweet filling.
  • ♨️ Cook tangyuan in boiling water until they float.
  • ❄️ Transfer cooked tangyuan to an ice bath to cool.
  • 🍧 Serve cold tangyuan in sweetened soup base, topped with fruits.
