Ingredients
- 🐷 Pork belly – 1.5 lbs
- 🍶 Soy sauce – 1/2 cup
- 🍚 Sugar – 2 tbsp
- ⭐ Star anise – 2
- 🌿 Ginger – 2 slices
- 🧅 Scallions – 2 stalks, chopped
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork belly on all sides in a pot.
- 🍶 Add soy sauce, sugar, star anise, and ginger.
- 💧 Add water to cover the pork belly.
- simmer on low heat for 2 hours, or until tender.
- 🔪 Slice and serve with rice and chopped scallions.
