Ingredients

  • 🦆 Duck – 1 whole
  • 🍯 Honey – 2 tbsp
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🧅 Shallots – 3, minced
  • 🌿 Five-spice powder – 1 tsp
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🦆 Marinate the duck with honey, garlic, shallots, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper for at least 2 hours.
  • 🔥 Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • ♨️ Place the duck on a roasting rack and cook for about 1 hour, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • 🔪 Let the duck rest for 10 minutes before carving.
  • 🍽️ Serve hot with rice or noodles and your favorite dipping sauce.
