- 🍯 Honey – 2 tbsp
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🧅 Shallots – 3, minced
- 🌿 Five-spice powder – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🌶️ Black pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🦆 Marinate the duck with honey, garlic, shallots, five-spice powder, salt, and pepper for at least 2 hours.
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- ♨️ Place the duck on a roasting rack and cook for about 1 hour, or until the skin is crispy and golden brown, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 🔪 Let the duck rest for 10 minutes before carving.
