Ingredients

  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 1 cup
  • 🍚 Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • 🥚 Egg – 1 large
  • 🥛 Milk – 1/2 cup
  • 🥄 Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • 🫘 Anko (red bean paste) – for filling

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, egg, milk, and baking powder until smooth.
  • 🔥 Heat a taiyaki pan over medium heat and grease it lightly.
  • 🥄 Pour batter into the mold, add a spoonful of anko in the center, and cover with more batter.
  • 🍳 Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • ♨️ Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving.
