Ingredients

  • 🌱 Sesame seeds – 1 cup
  • 🫒 Olive oil – 2-4 tbsp
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – 1-2 tbsp
  • 💧 Water – 2-4 tbsp
  • 🧄 Garlic – 1 clove (optional)
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste

Instructions

  • 🌱 Toast sesame seeds lightly in a dry pan or oven until fragrant.
  • 🥣 Let the sesame seeds cool slightly, then grind them into a fine powder using a food processor.
  • 🫒 Slowly add olive oil and lemon juice while processing until a smooth paste forms.
  • 💧 Add water to thin the tahini to your desired consistency.
  • 🧂 Season with salt and optional garlic. Enjoy!
