Ingredients
- 🌱 Sesame seeds – 1 cup
- 🫒 Olive oil – 2-4 tbsp
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1-2 tbsp
- 💧 Water – 2-4 tbsp
- 🧄 Garlic – 1 clove (optional)
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
Instructions
- 🌱 Toast sesame seeds lightly in a dry pan or oven until fragrant.
- 🥣 Let the sesame seeds cool slightly, then grind them into a fine powder using a food processor.
- 🫒 Slowly add olive oil and lemon juice while processing until a smooth paste forms.
- 💧 Add water to thin the tahini to your desired consistency.
- 🧂 Season with salt and optional garlic. Enjoy!
