Ingredients

  • 🍋 Preserved Lemon – quartered
  • 🫒 Olives – green or black
  • 🍯 Honey – for sweetness
  • 🌶️ Spices – cumin, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon

Instructions

  • 🧅 Sauté onions in a tagine or Dutch oven until softened.
  • 🍗 Add meat and brown on all sides.
  • 🥕 Stir in spices, carrots, and enough broth to cover the meat.
  • 🍋 Add preserved lemon, olives, and honey. Simmer until meat is tender.
  • 🌿 Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving with couscous.
