Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken pieces – 8, skin on
- 🥛 Buttermilk – 2 cups
- 🧂 Salt – 2 tsp
- 🌶️ Paprika – 1 tsp
- 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 tsp
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
- 🔥 Cooking oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥣 Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, paprika, and garlic powder for at least 30 minutes.
- 🌾 Dredge chicken in flour, ensuring it's fully coated.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 325°F (160°C).
- 🍗 Carefully place chicken pieces in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
- 🍳 Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- ♨️ Remove chicken and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
