Ingredients

  • 🍗 Chicken pieces – 8, skin on
  • 🥛 Buttermilk – 2 cups
  • 🧂 Salt – 2 tsp
  • 🌶️ Paprika – 1 tsp
  • 🧄 Garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • 🌾 All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • 🔥 Cooking oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, paprika, and garlic powder for at least 30 minutes.
  • 🌾 Dredge chicken in flour, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan to 325°F (160°C).
  • 🍗 Carefully place chicken pieces in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  • 🍳 Fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • ♨️ Remove chicken and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
