Ingredients

  • 🍓 Strawberries – 4 medium, washed and hulled
  • 🫘 Red bean paste – 1/2 cup
  • 🍡 Glutinous rice flour – 1 cup
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • 💧 Water – 3/4 cup
  • 🥔 Potato starch – for dusting

Instructions

  • 🍓 Wrap each strawberry individually with a thin layer of red bean paste and set aside.
  • 🥣 Mix rice flour, sugar, and water in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  • ☢️ Microwave the mixture for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for another minute until sticky and translucent.
  • ✨ Dust a surface with potato starch, flatten the mochi dough, and wrap it around the prepared strawberries.
  • 🍽️ Pinch the edges to seal the dough and serve immediately at room temperature.
