Spicy salmon sushi

Ingredients

  • 🍣 Sushi-grade salmon – 200g finely minced
  • 🍚 Sushi rice – 2 cups cooked and seasoned
  • 🌶️ Spicy mayo – 2 tbsp (mayonnaise mixed with sriracha)
  • 🥬 Nori sheets – 2 large sheets
  • 🥒 Cucumber – thinly sliced into strips
  • 🌱 Sesame seeds – 1 tsp for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔪 Finely mince the salmon and mix thoroughly with the spicy mayo in a small bowl.
  • 🍱 Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat and spread a thin, even layer of sushi rice across it.
  • 🥒 Arrange the salmon mixture and cucumber strips in a line across the center of the rice.
  • 🌀 Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, then slice into bite-sized pieces using a sharp, wet knife.
  • ✨ Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
