Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef Short Ribs – 4 lbs, bone-in
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 2, roughly chopped
- 🍷 Red Wine – 2 cups, dry
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, smashed
- 🌿 Thyme – 3 sprigs fresh
Instructions
- 🔥 Season ribs with salt and pepper, then sear in a hot pan until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Remove ribs and sauté onions, carrots, and garlic in the same pan until fragrant.
- 🍷 Pour in wine and scrape the pan to release browned bits, then return ribs to the pot.
- 🥘 Cover and braise in a 325°F (160°C) oven for 3 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
- ✨ Skim fat from the sauce, pour over the ribs, and serve warm.
