Ingredients

  • 🌿 Mustard Greens (Sarso) – 1 kg
  • 🍃 Spinach – 250g
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, chopped
  • 🧈 Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • 🌽 Corn flour (Makki ka atta) – 2 tbsp
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • ✨ Spices: Ginger, asafoetida

Instructions

  • 🌿 Wash and chop mustard greens and spinach.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions, garlic, and green chilies in ghee.
  • 🍃 Add the greens and cook until wilted. Add water if needed.
  • 🌽 Stir in corn flour and simmer until the saag thickens.
  • ✨ Season with salt and spices. Serve hot with roti or rice.
