Ingredients
- 🦢 1 Goose (10-12 lbs)
- 🧅 2 Onions, quartered
- 🥕 2 Carrots, roughly chopped
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary)
- 🍎 2 Apples, quartered
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 🧂 Season goose inside and out with salt and pepper.
- 🍎 Stuff the cavity with apples, onions, carrots and herbs.
- ⏲️ Place the goose on a roasting rack in a roasting pan and roast for approximately 2.5-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 💧 Baste with pan drippings every 30 minutes. Let rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving. ✨
