Raspberry Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh raspberries 🍓
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 🍚
  • 1 cup water 💧
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice 🍋

Instructions

  • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan 🥣. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely.
  • Combine cooled sugar syrup, raspberries, and lemon juice in a blender or food processor 🍹. Puree until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds 🥄.
  • Pour the strained mixture into a shallow dish or container. Freeze for 2-3 hours, or until partially frozen.
  • Break up the partially frozen mixture with a fork or spoon 🍴. Return to the blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture back into the shallow dish or container and freeze for another 1-2 hours, or until firm.🧊
  • Let sorbet soften slightly before serving. Scoop and enjoy! 🍨
