Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 🌾
- 1 tsp baking powder 🥄
- 1/2 tsp baking soda 🥄
- 1/4 tsp salt 🧂
- 2 tbsp sugar 🍚
- 1 egg 🥚
- 1 cup milk 🥛
- 2 tbsp melted butter 🧈
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 🍦
- Optional: Peanut butter 🥜, Condensed milk 🥛, Chocolate sauce 🍫
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. 🥣
- In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. 🥚🥛🧈🍦
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Do not overmix. 🥣➕🥚🥛🧈🍦➡️ Dough
- Heat a waffle iron and grease it lightly. 🔥
- Pour batter onto the hot waffle iron. 🧇
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. ⏲️
- Remove waffle from iron and spread with peanut butter, condensed milk or chocolate sauce, if desired. 🥜🥛🍫
- Fold the waffle in half and serve immediately. Enjoy! 😊
