Ingredients

  • 🎃 Pumpkin puree – 1 cup
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🧅 Onion – 1/2 cup chopped
  • 🌾 Flour – 1/2 cup
  • 🥛 Milk – 1 cup
  • 🌿 Broth – 1/2 cup
  • 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
  • 🥚 Egg – for coating
  • 🧀 Cheese – Optional, for flavor
  • 🧂 Spices – Nutmeg, salt, pepper

Instructions

  • 🧅 Sauté onion in butter until softened.
  • 🎃 Stir in flour, then gradually add milk and broth to create a smooth sauce. Mix in pumpkin puree.
  • 🧀 Add spices and cheese (if using). Let cool and then chill.
  • 👐 Roll into small balls, coat with egg and breadcrumbs.
  • 🔥 Deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm with mustard.
