Ingredients
- 🎃 Pumpkin puree – 1 cup
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🧅 Onion – 1/2 cup chopped
- 🌾 Flour – 1/2 cup
- 🥛 Milk – 1 cup
- 🌿 Broth – 1/2 cup
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
- 🥚 Egg – for coating
- 🧀 Cheese – Optional, for flavor
- 🧂 Spices – Nutmeg, salt, pepper
Instructions
- 🧅 Sauté onion in butter until softened.
- 🎃 Stir in flour, then gradually add milk and broth to create a smooth sauce. Mix in pumpkin puree.
- 🧀 Add spices and cheese (if using). Let cool and then chill.
- 👐 Roll into small balls, coat with egg and breadcrumbs.
- 🔥 Deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm with mustard.
