Ingredients
- 🍗 Country Chicken (Natukodi) – 1 kg cleaned and cut
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, finely chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, diced
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp fresh
- 🌶️ Green Chilies – 3-4 slit
- 🧂 Spices – Turmeric, Red Chili Powder, and Garam Masala
- 🌿 Curry Leaves & Cilantro – for aroma and garnish
- 🛢️ Cooking Oil – 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sauté onions, chilies, and curry leaves until golden brown.
- 🍗 Add ginger-garlic paste and the chicken pieces, sautéing until the meat is lightly seared.
- 🍅 Stir in the tomatoes and spices, cooking until the tomatoes soften and oil starts to separate.
- 💧 Add 2 cups of water, seal the pressure cooker, and cook for 5-6 whistles until the country chicken is tender.
- ✨ Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and serve hot with steamed rice or ragi sankati.
