Ingredients

  • 🥩 Steak – 8oz, seasoned
  • 🍄 Mushrooms – sliced
  • 🍷 Red Wine – 1/2 cup
  • 🌿 Fresh Herbs – thyme, rosemary
  • 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
  • 🧅 Shallots – finely chopped

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear the steak in a hot pan with butter until browned on both sides. Set aside.
  • 🧅 In the same pan, sauté shallots and mushrooms until softened.
  • 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce slightly.
  • 🌿 Add fresh herbs and butter to the sauce. Simmer until thickened.
  • 🥩 Return the steak to the pan and cook to desired doneness. Serve immediately with sauce.
