Ingredients
- 🥩 Steak – 8oz, seasoned
- 🍄 Mushrooms – sliced
- 🍷 Red Wine – 1/2 cup
- 🌿 Fresh Herbs – thyme, rosemary
- 🧈 Butter – 2 tbsp
- 🧅 Shallots – finely chopped
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear the steak in a hot pan with butter until browned on both sides. Set aside.
- 🧅 In the same pan, sauté shallots and mushrooms until softened.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce slightly.
- 🌿 Add fresh herbs and butter to the sauce. Simmer until thickened.
- 🥩 Return the steak to the pan and cook to desired doneness. Serve immediately with sauce.
