Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken or Pork cutlets – pounded thin
- 🍞 Panko breadcrumbs – for a crunchy crust
- 🥚 Egg – 1 large, beaten
- 🌾 All-purpose flour – for dusting
- 🍚 Cooked white rice – the bowl base
- 🥬 Cabbage – thinly shredded
- 🤎 Katsu sauce – for drizzling
- 🛢️ Cooking oil – for shallow frying
Instructions
- 🍗 Coat the meat in flour, dip into the egg, and press firmly into panko crumbs.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- 🔪 Slice the crispy fried meat into thick strips after letting it rest for a minute.
- 🍚 Fill bowls with warm rice and top with a pile of fresh shredded cabbage.
- ✨ Place the sliced katsu on top, drizzle with plenty of sauce, and serve.
