Ingredients

  • 🍚 Rice flour – 2 cups
  • 💧 Water – 2.5 cups
  • 🥥 Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🛢️ Oil – for greasing

Instructions

  • 💧 Boil water with salt and gradually add rice flour, stirring continuously to form a dough.
  • 💪 Knead the dough well until smooth and pliable.
  • ⚙️ Use an idiyappam press to squeeze the dough into thin noodles onto greased idli plates.
  • ♨️ Steam the idiyappams for 5-7 minutes until cooked.
  • 🥥 Garnish with grated coconut and serve with curry or stew.
