Ingredients
- 🍚 Rice flour – 2 cups
- 💧 Water – 2.5 cups
- 🥥 Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Oil – for greasing
Instructions
- 💧 Boil water with salt and gradually add rice flour, stirring continuously to form a dough.
- 💪 Knead the dough well until smooth and pliable.
- ⚙️ Use an idiyappam press to squeeze the dough into thin noodles onto greased idli plates.
- ♨️ Steam the idiyappams for 5-7 minutes until cooked.
- 🥥 Garnish with grated coconut and serve with curry or stew.
