Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef sirloin or tenderloin – 2 steaks
- 🥚 Eggs – 1 large, beaten
- 🍞 Panko breadcrumbs – 1 cup
- 🌾 Flour – 1/2 cup
- 🧂 Salt and black pepper – to taste
- 🍳 Vegetable oil – for deep frying
Instructions
- 🥩 Season the beef steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 🥣 Coat each steak lightly in flour, dip into beaten egg, and press firmly into panko breadcrumbs.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (180°C) and fry the steaks for 60-90 seconds per side until golden brown.
- 🔪 Remove from oil, drain on a wire rack for one minute, and slice into thick strips.
- ✨ Serve immediately with tonkatsu sauce and shredded cabbage.
