Ingredients

  • 🥩 Beef sirloin or tenderloin – 2 steaks
  • 🥚 Eggs – 1 large, beaten
  • 🍞 Panko breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  • 🌾 Flour – 1/2 cup
  • 🧂 Salt and black pepper – to taste
  • 🍳 Vegetable oil – for deep frying

Instructions

  • 🥩 Season the beef steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • 🥣 Coat each steak lightly in flour, dip into beaten egg, and press firmly into panko breadcrumbs.
  • 🔥 Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (180°C) and fry the steaks for 60-90 seconds per side until golden brown.
  • 🔪 Remove from oil, drain on a wire rack for one minute, and slice into thick strips.
  • ✨ Serve immediately with tonkatsu sauce and shredded cabbage.
