Ingredients

  • 🧅 Artichoke hearts – canned or fresh
  • 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
  • 🥚 Egg – for binding
  • 🌿 Herbs – parsley, thyme (optional)
  • 🧄 Garlic powder – to taste
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
  • 🫒 Olive oil – for frying

Instructions

  • 🔪 Prepare artichoke hearts by trimming and quartering if using fresh. Canned ones need only draining.
  • 🥚 Dip artichoke pieces in egg and then coat evenly with breadcrumbs mixed with herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • 🔥 Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • ♨️ Fry artichokes in batches until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  • 🍽️ Serve immediately as a snack or appetizer.
