Ingredients
- 🧅 Artichoke hearts – canned or fresh
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
- 🥚 Egg – for binding
- 🌿 Herbs – parsley, thyme (optional)
- 🧄 Garlic powder – to taste
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
- 🫒 Olive oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🔪 Prepare artichoke hearts by trimming and quartering if using fresh. Canned ones need only draining.
- 🥚 Dip artichoke pieces in egg and then coat evenly with breadcrumbs mixed with herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- 🔥 Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- ♨️ Fry artichokes in batches until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- 🍽️ Serve immediately as a snack or appetizer.
