Ingredients

  • 🥥 Coconut milk – 2 cups
  • 🍚 Rice – 1/4 cup
  • 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • 🌰 Cashews – 1 tbsp
  • 🍇 Raisins – 1 tbsp
  • 🌱 Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  • 🍚 Rinse rice and cook until soft.
  • 🥥 Add coconut milk and sugar to the cooked rice.
  • 🔥 Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens.
  • 🌰 Roast cashews and raisins in ghee and add to the payasam.
  • 🌱 Add cardamom powder, mix well, and serve warm or chilled.
