Ingredients
- 🥥 Coconut milk – 2 cups
- 🍚 Rice – 1/4 cup
- 🍬 Sugar – 1/2 cup
- 🌰 Cashews – 1 tbsp
- 🍇 Raisins – 1 tbsp
- 🌱 Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- 🍚 Rinse rice and cook until soft.
- 🥥 Add coconut milk and sugar to the cooked rice.
- 🔥 Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens.
- 🌰 Roast cashews and raisins in ghee and add to the payasam.
- 🌱 Add cardamom powder, mix well, and serve warm or chilled.
