Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – whole milk
- 🧈 Butter – unsalted
- 🥚 Eggs – yolks only
- 🌾 Flour – all-purpose
- Sugar – granulated
- Pandan extract – for flavor
- Rum or Vanilla extract – optional
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat milk and butter in a saucepan.
- 🥚 Whisk sugar and egg yolks until pale.
- 🌾 Gradually add flour to the egg mixture.
- 🥛 Slowly pour in the warm milk mixture, stirring constantly.
- 🌿 Add pandan extract and rum (optional). Refrigerate overnight.
- ♨️ Preheat oven and canele molds. Pour batter into molds and bake until dark and caramelized.
