Ingredients
- 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
- 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup
- 🍬 Sugar – ¾ cup
- 🥚 Egg Yolks – 4 large
- ✨ Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat milk and cream in a saucepan, do not boil.
- 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
- 🌡️ Temper egg mixture with warm milk mixture.
- 🥣 Return to saucepan and cook until it coats the back of a spoon.
- ❄️ Chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions, then freeze.
