Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – 2 cups
  • 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup
  • 🍬 Sugar – ¾ cup
  • 🥚 Egg Yolks – 4 large
  • ✨ Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Heat milk and cream in a saucepan, do not boil.
  • 🥚 Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick.
  • 🌡️ Temper egg mixture with warm milk mixture.
  • 🥣 Return to saucepan and cook until it coats the back of a spoon.
  • ❄️ Chill completely, then churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions, then freeze.
