Buffalo Margherita

Ingredients

  • 🍕 Pizza dough – 1 ball
  • 🍅 San Marzano tomato sauce – ½ cup
  • 🧀 Buffalo mozzarella – 200g sliced
  • 🌿 Fresh basil leaves – handful
  • 🫒 Extra virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • 🧂 Sea salt – a pinch

Instructions

  • 🌡️ Preheat your oven to its highest setting, ideally with a pizza stone inside.
  • 🍕 Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • 🍅 Spread the tomato sauce evenly, leaving space for the crust, and top with torn buffalo mozzarella.
  • 🔥 Bake for 8–10 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • 🌿 Remove from the oven, top with fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and serve immediately.
