Ingredients
- 🍚 Basmati Rice – 2 cups, soaked
- 🍗 Chicken or Mutton – 1 kg, cut into pieces
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, sliced
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 3 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌿 Mint & Cilantro – handful, chopped
- 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
- 🍶 Yogurt – 1/2 cup
- 🌶️ Biryani Masala – 3 tbsp
- 🥄 Ghee – 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Fry onions until golden brown and set aside.
- 🥘 Marinate meat with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and biryani masala for 30 minutes.
- 🍚 In a large pot, layer rice, marinated meat, fried onions, tomatoes, mint, and cilantro.
- 💧 Add water and ghee, then cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and the meat is tender.
- ✨ Garnish with fried onions and fresh herbs before serving hot.
