Ingredients
- 🍝 Pasta – your favorite type
- 🍅 Canned Tomatoes – crushed or diced
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Fresh Basil – chopped
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🧀 Parmesan Cheese – grated (optional)
Instructions
- 🧅 Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil until softened.
- 🍅 Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 🌿 Stir in fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 🍝 Cook pasta according to package directions.
- 🥣 Toss the cooked pasta with the pomodoro sauce and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
