Ingredients

  • 🍝 Pasta – your favorite type
  • 🍅 Canned Tomatoes – crushed or diced

  • 🧀 Parmesan Cheese – grated (optional)

Instructions

  • 🧅 Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil until softened.
  • 🍅 Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 🌿 Stir in fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 🍝 Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • 🥣 Toss the cooked pasta with the pomodoro sauce and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
