Ingredients

  • 🦃 Turkey – 12-14 lb
  • 🧅 Onions – 2 large, quartered
  • 🥕 Carrots – 3 large, chopped
  • 🌿 Celery – 3 stalks, chopped
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1, halved
  • 🌱 Herbs (rosemary, thyme) – Fresh sprigs
  • 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup, softened
  • 🧂 Salt & Pepper – To taste

Instructions

  • ♨️ Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • 🧈 Prepare turkey by rinsing and patting dry. Rub with softened butter, salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • 🧅 Stuff cavity with onions, carrots, celery, lemon halves, and extra herbs.
  • ⏳ Roast for 2-3 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 165°F (74°C). Baste with pan juices every 30 minutes.
  • 😴 Let rest for 20 minutes before carving and serving.
