Ingredients
- 🦃 Turkey – 12-14 lb
- 🧅 Onions – 2 large, quartered
- 🥕 Carrots – 3 large, chopped
- 🌿 Celery – 3 stalks, chopped
- 🍋 Lemon – 1, halved
- 🌱 Herbs (rosemary, thyme) – Fresh sprigs
- 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup, softened
- 🧂 Salt & Pepper – To taste
Instructions
- ♨️ Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 🧈 Prepare turkey by rinsing and patting dry. Rub with softened butter, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- 🧅 Stuff cavity with onions, carrots, celery, lemon halves, and extra herbs.
- ⏳ Roast for 2-3 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh registers 165°F (74°C). Baste with pan juices every 30 minutes.
- 😴 Let rest for 20 minutes before carving and serving.
