Ingredients
- 🥬 Cabbage – 1 large head
- 🥩 Ground meat – 1 lb (beef or pork)
- 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup uncooked
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomato sauce – 2 cups
- 🥕 Carrots – 1 medium, grated
- 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Herbs – (dill, parsley) chopped
- 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🥬 Prepare the cabbage leaves by blanching them in boiling water until pliable.
- 🍚 Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 🥬 Stuff each cabbage leaf with the meat mixture and roll it up tightly.
- 🥘 Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in a pot, cover with tomato sauce and carrots.
- 🔥 Simmer for 60 minutes, or until cabbage and rice are tender. Serve hot.
