Ingredients

  • 🥬 Cabbage – 1 large head
  • 🥩 Ground meat – 1 lb (beef or pork)
  • 🍚 Rice – 1/2 cup uncooked
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomato sauce – 2 cups
  • 🥕 Carrots – 1 medium, grated
  • 🧄 Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Herbs – (dill, parsley) chopped
  • 🧂 Salt and pepper – to taste

Instructions

  • 🥬 Prepare the cabbage leaves by blanching them in boiling water until pliable.
  • 🍚 Mix ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • 🥬 Stuff each cabbage leaf with the meat mixture and roll it up tightly.
  • 🥘 Place the stuffed cabbage rolls in a pot, cover with tomato sauce and carrots.
  • 🔥 Simmer for 60 minutes, or until cabbage and rice are tender. Serve hot.
