Ingredients
- 🥧 Pie crust – 1 pre-made or homemade dough
- 🍓 Strawberries – 4 cups, fresh and hulled
- 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup granulated
- 🌽 Cornstarch – 3 tbsp for thickening
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp for brightness
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine sliced strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- 🥧 Press the bottom crust into a pie dish and pour the strawberry mixture inside.
- 🛡️ Cover with a top crust or lattice design and crimp the edges to seal.
- ⏲️ Bake at 375°F (190°C) until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- ✨ Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack to allow the filling to set before serving.
