Ingredients
- 🐷 Pork shoulder – 3 lbs
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Thyme – 1 tsp, dried
- 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork shoulder on all sides in a large pot or Dutch oven.
- 🧅 Remove pork and sauté onions and carrots until softened.
- 🧄 Add garlic and thyme, cook for 1 minute.
- 🍷 Deglaze with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
- 🥘 Return pork to the pot, season with salt and pepper, cover and slow cook at 325°F (160°C) for 3 hours, or until the pork is very tender.
