Ingredients
- 🐟 Fish fillets – 2 (cod or similar)
- 🥬 Sauerkraut – 1 cup, drained
- 🧅 Onion – 1/2, sliced
- 🥓 Bacon – 2 slices, chopped
- 🌿 Dill – Fresh, chopped
- 🍋 Lemon – 1/2, juiced
Instructions
- 🥓 Fry bacon until crispy, remove and set aside, leaving the fat in the pan.
- 🧅 Sauté the onion in the bacon fat until softened.
- 🥬 Add the sauerkraut and cook for 5 minutes.
- 🐟 Place fish on top of sauerkraut, cover and cook until fish is flaky (about 10-15 minutes).
- 🌿 Garnish with crispy bacon, fresh dill, and lemon juice before serving.
