Ingredients

  • 🌾 Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🧈 Ghee or oil – for cooking

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix wheat flour and salt. Add water gradually to form a soft dough.
  • Knead the dough well until smooth and elastic. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • ♨️ Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a very thin roti.
  • 🔥 Heat a griddle or tawa. Gently place the roti on the hot griddle and cook on both sides until light brown spots appear.
  • ✨ Fold the rumali roti and serve hot with your favorite curry or side dish.
